Historic Tours

 

Located in Bluffton’s Historic District at 70 Boundary Street is the Heyward House Historic Center. This museum is open to the public as a welcome center and offers guided tours of the house and grounds. Pick up a self-guided walking tour map of the Historic District or make an appointment for a guided walking tour (see below).

House Tours

Docent-guided house tours are available Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 .pm. Tours cost $5 for adults, $2 for students and are free for children under 10 (must be accompanied by an adult.) Tours last approximately 30 minutes.  >> Photo Gallery

Walking Tours

Guided tours of Bluffton’s National Register Historic District include a 30-minute tour of the Heyward House and an hour walk through town.
