BHPS 30th Annual Meeting
07-Feb-20122011 was a very good year for the Bluffton Historical Preservation Society. We had a lot of fun celebrating our town’s history with tours and events. Much thanks for all of your help, ideas and encouragement. Special thanks to those who helped with or attended our Lowcountry Christmas Gala. We also want to extend a warm welcome to our new members who joined us last year.
Our 30th Annual Meeting will be held at the Bluffton United Methodist Church (101 Calhoun St) on February 23rd from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. An optional hot lunch will be served for $10.00. Following the business meeting and luncheon, Emmett McCracken will be our guest speaker. Emmett’s family has lived here since the 1890’s. He was an elected representative in Bluffton and Beaufort County government for twelve years after his retirement from the US Army in 1989. He will share stories about how he’s seen things change over the years in the Lowcountry.

If your membership needs renewal, dues may be paid in advance (with credit card by phone or with cash, check or credit card in person) or at the meeting. Pricing remains the same as last year: Student $20, Individual $30, Family $75 and Corporate $125.
